Ryan McDonald is no stranger to electronic music, starting as an avid enthusiast of everything electronica since the early nineties, these days Ryan is quickly becoming a front runner in the Toronto House Music community. Having grown up in Toronto (Canada), Ryan was surrounded by one of the most culturally inspiring cities in the world, and has had significant influences in all parts of the musical art-form. Originally a break dancer, and having studied piano at an early age, Ryan is no stranger to the power of musical influence and you can really see it in his programming. Ryan has held numerous residencies and has performed at many different clubs with some of Toronto’s top DJ’s across Toronto, including some of the current hottest spots such as ; Coda, One Loft, Nest, The Government Night Club, Cobra, Revival, Tryst, Wildflower, Ghost Bar (Niagara Falls) as well as many more. He also has done international stints down in Cancun Mexico (Ultra Lounge) and The Domincan Republic (Mangu, Onnos – Santo Domingo and Cabarete), With his sights set on the future, only expect bigger and better things from Ryan in 2020.
First and foremost an enthusiast to all that is house, Dan is one of Toronto’s most promising up and coming DJ’s. Raised in Toronto, he was immediately immersed into a diverse, and very individualistic culture. When he was 8 years old he was given his first musical instrument, the bass guitar, and immediately knew he was going to be doing something with music in his future. By his mid teens he had continued to grow and grasp new concepts into music, and studied music theory both in and out of the classroom environment, developing a deep love of complex rhythms and nuances, and specifically gained interest in jazz and punk rock. One should take notice at his ability to pursue and make ideas become reality- 50 Shades of Red, a punk rock quintet influenced heavily by bands such as the Distillers, Bad Religion, Anti Flag, and bands not found in mainstream culture, (Dan’s First band) ended up being one his most successful ventures, playing all of Toronto’s hottest rock clubs including The Big Bop, The Docks, Koolhaus just to name a few- by the ripe age of 16. In such a performer was born, and Dan has been playing live shows ever since, whether as a bass player, or DJ in the Toronto club circuit.
With his integral blends of techno and tech house influences, Dan knows how to work a crowd. Having worked the Toronto bar/ lounge circuit, Dan is eager and ready to move on to the bigger stage. Being in close environments with DJ’s Nathan Barato, Cam Maxwell, George William, El Duran, Paranoid Jack, Tim Patrick, Iron Mike, Anthony D’Amico, Julien Loreto, Chris Fresque, Rob Lamberti, Maddy Frizzell, Luis Sastre and others – just to name a few- he has quickly progressed in the electronic music community.
Dan is not a rookie in the music industry, he works as a full time producer and Recording Engineer, as well as a touring musician, he knows what to do on the decks, how to work a crowd and to get them excited.
This ex- Audio Creep had a fantastic year in 2009-2010, having done interviews on Scenester radio, and played all over Toronto… including Guvernment, Film lounge, Lily Lounge, LOL lounge, opened for Steve Lawler on New years at Circa 2010, as well as played WMC 2010 w/ international artists Subfractal, Erphun + More. Ready to continue moving forward, look for Dan and his upcoming releases and events!

In an age of short attention spans and constant media bombardment, Subfractal have unquestionably cemented their position as powerful techno tastemakers. A burgeoning electronic music scene and a common love of techno brought together Fahad Ahmad and Syed Raza back in ’06 where they met in Toronto, Canada. After collaborating on a handful of projects, the musical chemistry between the duo became evident, and Subfractal was born.
Since then, their brand of brooding, driving, beautifully dark techno has been propelling them up the ranks of the electronic music scene. Their music has reached international audiences through releases on well-respected labels such as Harthouse, Excentric Muzik, Brood Audio, Sleaze Records, Respekt Recordings, Frequenza, Bosphorus Underground CODE, Piso Records, Klimaks, Airbus, Teggno and Inminimax to name a few.
With support from industry heavyweights like Umek, Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Spektre, Fergie, Erphun, Hernan Cattaneo, Phunk Investigation and so many more, it’s no surprise that Subfractal’s releases routinely appear in the upper echelons of countless worldwide electronic music rankings. Back in 2009, their remix of Larry Power’s ‘Milk’ spent over six weeks in the highly coveted #1 spot on Beatport Minimal. Since then, their releases have seen success in the Top 100 Techno charts on several occasions and expect more to come.
Acclaimed performances at the Winter Music Conference, Detroit Electronic Movement Festival and many clubs around the world including the legendary Tresor in Berlin, have seen Subfractal rip dancefloors apart with their showcases of their booming underground music. Fahad and Syed currently operate out of Toronto and New York City respectively, and continue to demonstrate their versatility. They’re constantly remixing talented artists across various sub-genres of electronic music, and throwing events to showcase the best talent from across the globe. Expectations are flying high for this talented duo and with a plethora of marquee releases and live shows on the way, they’re most definitely up for the challenge.

Sheebz is a musical firecracker making waves in the Hamilton and Toronto scenes. Incredibly versatile, she plays dynamic live sets in a variety of genres from techno to disco. Whatever the vibe, Sheebz will have you grinning and bouncing along for the ride. Her DJ sets always tell a story, full of energy and emotional expression. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Cognition, where she learned how our brains process and enjoy music.
She uses this knowledge to her advantage to create beautiful mixes that make your dopamine receptors tingle. Being a classically-trained musician has made Sheebz a music snob, and she gravitates towards songs that have true musicality and organic sounds. Sheebz is an empath who connects effortlessly with her crowd to read and respond to their mood.
Where does all this passion come from? Sheebz is a voice for people with addiction and mental illness and knows that music can bring people together to heal from trauma and pain. Always full of energy and love for the music, she is motivated by the need to create in each of her listeners the primal urge to move to the beat.
